Google Play Production Access Form: How to Answer It
Meeting 12 testers and 14 days is not enough if the form is answered with generalities. Here is what Google tends to ask and how to answer with concrete data.
The three parts of the form
According to Play Console's official help, the application has three parts: about your closed test, about your app or game, and about your production readiness. About your closed test
Google asks, among other things, how recruiting testers went, whether they used all the app's features, whether their usage resembled what you expect in production, and a summary of the feedback received and how you collected it. Answer with facts:
- How many testers, from what date and for how many days.
- How you recruited them (for example a testers marketplace, your own community, contacts).
- Which features they tested and how many sessions were recorded, if you have telemetry.
- What problems they found and what you changed as a result (with versions or dates).
About your app and production readiness
- What the app does and who it is for, with its main features.
- What you fixed or improved during the test and what is still pending.
- How you will measure quality after launch (Android Vitals, crash reporting).
- Confirm the app complies with Google Play policies: that is your responsibility.
Answer skeleton (fill in with your data)
"We ran a closed test from [date] to [date] with [N] testers recruited through [method]. We recorded [N] sessions and [N] bug reports. Testers exercised [features]. Following their feedback we fixed [specific issues] in version [x.y.z]. Our post-launch quality plan includes [Android Vitals, monitoring]."
Do not invent figures: if you do not have them, honestly describe what you did. A concrete, verifiable text beats a long generic one.
