Terms of service

These terms govern use of the platform operated by Francisco Peris Oller (tax ID 33570350X). Contact: contacto@rovidev.com.

Tester Marketplace connects publishers (app/game developers) with testers who run tests under campaign rules set by the publisher.

The publisher is responsible for its app, campaign terms and store compliance (e.g. Google Play). Testers are independent users; the platform is not their employer. Tester Marketplace provides infrastructure, session and event recording when the app integrates the client, and the payment flows provided by the service.

You must provide accurate data, keep your account secure and comply with applicable law. We may suspend or close accounts for fraud, abuse or breach of these terms.

Deposits and payouts may be processed by third parties (e.g. Stripe). Fees and holdings are shown in the dashboard. Tester payouts may be subject to compliance checks, anti-fraud policies and KYC requirements of the payment provider. Amounts and rules depend on each campaign published by the publisher.

Reserved campaign funds are treated differently depending on who cancels and why:

Publisher-initiated cancellation (change of plans, no longer needed, or any reason unrelated to a service failure): unused funds are released as wallet credit on the account, available for future campaigns. Cash refunds are not issued for voluntary cancellations.

Service not delivered due to the platform: a failure is considered attributable to Tester Marketplace, not to the publisher, when both of these conditions are met:

1. At least 5 calendar days have passed since the campaign was activated, and the number of testers with a valid assignment (not marked as failed) is below 50% of the contracted quota.
2. That shortfall is not caused by the publisher's own choices: targeting the campaign by country, device, manufacturer, language, accessibility or a restricted invite list in a way that limits how many testers are eligible; or not adding testers who already joined to the publisher's own Google Play Console test list within a reasonable time after they join.

When both conditions are met, the publisher may request a refund to the original payment method, subject to review by support, which can reasonably take a few business days. A one-off technical failure attributable to Tester Marketplace that prevents the campaign from working normally also entitles the publisher to request this refund without waiting for the 5 days. This situation is not conflated with or offset by wallet credit: if an actual refund is issued, the equivalent internal balance is not also credited as wallet funds.

Service fees already accrued for work actually completed by testers are non-refundable. To request a refund, email contacto@rovidev.com with the campaign ID and reason.

Fraud, impersonation, metric manipulation, use of artificial devices or accounts to fake compliance, and any illegal use of the service are prohibited.

The service is offered subject to technical availability. No specific commercial outcome or minimum volume of campaigns or testers is guaranteed. Each party must handle its own taxes and applicable employment or commercial obligations. To the extent permitted by law, Tester Marketplace's liability is limited to the fees actually charged for the service in the twelve months before the event.

Unless mandatory law provides otherwise, these terms are interpreted under the laws of España / Unión Europea, without prejudice to consumer rights that cannot be waived.
